Stephen T.J. Wright (London Research Service) was established in 1984 to offer a service to the rapidly growing number of family historians requiring genealogical research at national and local record archives in London.

We offer a research service at all Central London locations, and also undertake enquiries at The National Archives at Kew, Surrey,  The British Newspaper Library in North London and The Essex Record Office at Chelmsford.

We also offer a Consultation Service for those whose research has reached an impasse, or to assist in the planning of a particular line of enquiry, or for those just starting out with their research and seeking advice. Whether you require a full program of family history research, or the carrying out of a single item of enquiry, we are ideally qualified to assist

Visits are made to The National Archives ,  The London Metropolitan Archives , The Guildhall Library , The Principal Probate Registry and The British Library (British Library and India Office)on a regular basis.
